Moravian wine-makers gained 140 medals
One of the most popular wine competitions in the world – the Austrian AWC Vienna – published this year’s results at the Gala Evening of Wine at the Viennese City Hall. 7959 wines from 1422 producers from all around the world took part in the competition. The Czech Republic was represented by the all-time high 159 samples, which is the highest number in the history of our participations in foreign competitions so far. The wine-makers from the Czech Republic reached a tremendous success – one of the medals or diplomas “seal of approval” were given to record 140 wines, that is unbelievable 88 %.
