  Tasting exhibition of the 12th year of the Wine Salon of the Czech Republic opened to the public.

  The diplomas, for the winemakers whose wines received the award "Wine Salon of the Czech Republic 2012", were handed over on Friday, 24th of February 2012, in the Spanish stable of the State casle in Valtice in the presence of honorary chairman of competition assessment, Prof. Vilém Kraus, senators, deputies, honorary guests, winemaker representatives and media. The tasting exhibition is open to the public from Saturday, 25th of February.

  Silver, gold, as well as diamond for Moravian winemakers and their wines in the Principality of Monaco

  These are the official results from the sixth edition of the international wine contest Femmes et Vins du Monde (Women and Wine of the World), which took place on 26th and 27th April 2012 in the conference hall of the premises of the Novotel Hotel on Boulevard Princesse Charlotte in Monte-Carlo. And our vintners can really rejoice!

  Cuvée 2012

  International Wine Competition of the Moravian-Silesian Region

  The tenth anniversary edition of the singular international competition of blends and branded wines was held on 16th and 26th April by the Club of Ostrava’s Amateur Wine Evaluators, K.A.H.A.N. in conjunction with the Zámek Zábřeh Hotel in Ostrava and the National Wine Centre which is based in Valtice.

  The wines from the Czech Republic are heading for the prestigious World ProWein Fair again

  This year it is already for the seventh time when Moravian and Bohemian wine-makers will introduce their production in the international wine trade ProWein fair. The world famous wine and spirit exhibition will be held in German Düsseldorf this year already at the beginning of March (4. – 6. 3. 2012).

  Unprecedented success for Moravian wines in the new international competition for “Gastronomic“ wines

  Vinařství Baloun (the Baloun Winery) has once again excelled on the international wine stage. As part of the 25th edition of the annual trade fair AGECOTEL 2012 - NICE CÔTE D'AZUR, which took place between 22 - 25 January 2012, a new prestigious wine competition was unveiled with the title “Concours International des Vins de Gastronomie™“.

  19th year of the International Wine Competition GRAND PRIX VINEX 2012 has its Champion

  The wine tasters needed two days for the evaluation of the wine and the selection of the Champion of the 19th year of the international wine competition GRAND PRIX VINEX. The European and World wines present in the Central European market applied for the tasters’ favour and the highest score. The Pinot Gris 2010 straw wine from the Znovín Znojmo a.s. winery won at the end in a very even match. Last year's victory in the category Top Rated Collection was defended by the Winery Josef Valihrach, s.r.o.
